Ian Brown - Sports Therapist
Ian has trained and competed in various sports but mostly cycling, for over 40 years. Today you will still find him working out on a daily basis with a mix of Concept 2 rowing, cycling, spinning, weight training and kettlebells. He personally trains and coaches a number of people for general fitness and sports specific activities.
His passion for sport, and the injury frustrations that he suffered, led to him qualifying as a Sports Therapist with a 1st Class BSc(Hons) Degree and as a Sports Massage Therapist. Additionally, he is also a fully qualified Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer with specialist skills in remedial and rehabilitation exercise, as well as being a certified Spinning and Kettlebell instructor.
He was the 1st Team Sports Therapist at West Norfolk Rugby Club for many years, and continues to guest lecture for the College of West Anglia on their Sports and Exercise Science Diploma program.
Ian has an absolute passion for all of his 'work' but has particular interests in running injuries, sciatica and back pain, and post surgery rehabilitation.
